General Information:

NOTE: Please do not order pre-order/local pickup with items that are to be shipped.
Terms of Service and Ordering:
  • By placing a pre-order you are automatically agreeing to this policy. It is up to you to fully read the policies and/or any associated information related to pre-orders prior to completing your purchase(s).  At anytime I have the right to adjust or amend any of the statements listed below.

Our patterns may not be re-distributed or sold in any form - digital or physical as the actual pattern or pre-cut kits.


Due to the custom nature of our products we DO NOT accept cancellations or offer refunds. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

Of course if you believe your product is damaged, or your order was missing an item please contact us directly via the contact us page and will assist you ASAP.


Some variance in fabric consistency can happen due to the weaving of base cloth and manufacturing process. The below weights and consistency is our normal standard and we do our best to provide the bases listed above. However, a slight variance must be acceptable if you order, as manufacturing cannot always control variance.

  • COTTON LYCRA KNIT: 240-280gsm 95% cotton/5% lycra 55” - 60” wide. Selvages may be along the edges. 1 yard pre order price is $25, 1 yard retail price is $28. All fabric is sold in 1 yard increments.
  • COTTON WOVEN: 140- 150 gsm 100% 55” - 60” wide. Selvages may be along the edges. 1 yard pre order price is $25, 1 yard retail price is $28. All fabric is sold in 1 yard increments.


  • BIG KID panel pack comes with 3 uncut panels 19” X 36” and is $23 preorder price and $26 retail price. Single Big Kid panels (when offered) are $12 each.
  • Adult panel pack comes with 2 uncut panels approximately 29” X 36” and is $25 pre order price and $28 retail price. Single Adult panels (when offered) are $15 each.

*What to expect with large print orders and continuous yardage: Max length of our cuts offered is 6 yards. We cannot guarantee any continuous cut amount due to the manufacturing process.


  • We ship domestic U.S.A orders by USPS Priority mail and provide tracking by email to buyers and $100.00 of included package insurance by USPS is included.
  • We currently do not ship Internationally
  • Additional insurance coverage is available in your shopping cart or at checkout through a third-party Route. If you would like to fully ensure your order you must check the Route Shipping Insurance button at checkout. ALL claims are handled by you, the buyer, directly with Route.   • WE ARE UNABLE to combine shipping on multiple orders.
  • We do not offer any shipping adjustments or refunds as our shipping rates are at fixed pricing.
  • If you are placing a domestic order that weighs more than 21.3 pounds you will be charged shipping fees at time of shipping by PayPal invoice. You have 1 day to pay your shipping bill and we will contact you by email or message to collect. *Packages will not go out without payment. We still send large orders via Priority Flat Rate.

Please be sure to inspect your fabric and contents upon arrival and before you use or wash it.

Each customer will have 7 days to inspect their order to ensure quality is to their satisfaction. If you happen to find any flaws or have other concerns, we ask that you please contact our admin team on our Facebook page so we may replace or issue partial/full refunds. Any issues or problems with your order that are addressed after the 7 days are not eligible for replacement or refunds. Any issues need to be addressed before washing, cutting, or altering the fabric in any way. No refunds or replacements will be given at any time after the fabric has been altered from its original condition.   

Salty Sews is not responsible if your order is damaged in any way during shipping. We do everything we can to securely package your order to ensure it arrives to you undamaged. If you would like extra insurance coverage on your order please leave a note on your purchase and you will be invoiced for it. Please remember that Salty Sews is not responsible for packages once they are shipped. This includes undelivered packages. Once your package shows movement we can not be responsible for the condition it arrives or the time frame it takes to reach you.


You have 7 DAYS from the date tracking shows your package was delivered to contact us if you receive anything that has a flaw, or you are missing product for us to address the situation for you. If you fail to contact us by the 7th day no refunds or replacements will be issued. Any washed or cut fabric will not be covered. If you are missing all or part of your fabric due to a damaged parcel please contact USPS directly by filing a claim with them. If you have received a product that has manufacturing flaws please contact us by email within 7 days to fix it for you.

  • If USPS or UPS damages your package, or it’s lost, it is the BUYERS responsibility to file a USPS claim on the website by uploading your proof of damages, and all pertinent information. This can be done rather quickly on their website. All orders include $100 of included insurance. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR 3rd PARTY CARRIER ISSUES. We will do our best to assist in any way possible should you have an issue with a carrier company, but we are not liable for their service.
  • If you would like to fully ensure your order you can do so by selecting the Route shipping insurance feature in your cart or in the checkout screen. It’s a very affordable way to protect your shipments. If you have a claim to submit and you paid for this service, you can work directly with Route via their website.
