General Information:
- Business Hours: M-F except holidays, 9 am - 5 pm eastern standard time. Message response time is typically within 72 hours unless it’s a weekend, holiday, after hours, or we are out of the office.

- By placing a pre-order you are automatically agreeing to this policy. It is up to you to fully read the policies and/or any associated information related to pre-orders prior to completing your purchase(s). At anytime I have the right to adjust or amend any of the statements listed below.

Interested in using one of our patterns for a video, workshop, or class? We request that you please reach out to us directly to discuss this prior to doing so by emailing us: saltysews@gmail.com.
Our patterns may not be re-distributed or sold in any form - digital or physical as the actual pattern or pre-cut kits.
ORDER CANCELLATION POLICY:
Due to the custom nature of our products we DO NOT accept cancellations or offer refunds. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
Of course if you believe your product is damaged, or your order was missing an item please contact us directly via the contact us page and will assist you ASAP.
FABRIC CONSISTENCY & PRICING
🎨 Color & Fabric Variance
Each fabric base absorbs ink differently. Because of this, colors may appear lighter, darker, brighter, or more saturated from one base to another, even when using the same artwork. Exact color matching across different fabric bases is not guaranteed.
Minor variations in fabric weight, texture, and consistency can occur due to the weaving and manufacturing process. The specifications listed reflect our standard bases; however, slight variances are normal and must be accepted when ordering.

▶ Cotton Lycra
Cotton Lycra is 250 GSM and made from 95% cotton and 5% lycra. It is digitally printed, measures approximately 56”–58” wide, and has 4-way stretch. Selvages may be present. Pricing is $25 per yard for preorder and $28 per yard retail. This base is sold in 1-yard increments.
▶ Bamboo Cotton Lycra
Bamboo Cotton Lycra is 240 GSM and composed of 67% bamboo, 28% cotton, and 5% spandex. It is digitally printed, approximately 56”–58” wide, and offers 4-way stretch. Selvages may be present. Pricing is $26 per yard for preorder and $29 per yard retail. This base is sold in 1-yard increments.
▶ Bamboo French Terry
Bamboo French Terry is 265 GSM and made from 67% bamboo, 28% cotton, and 5% spandex. It is digitally printed, approximately 56”–58” wide, and has 4-way stretch. Selvages may be present. Pricing is $26 per yard for preorder and $29 per yard retail. This base is sold in 1-yard increments.
▶ Cotton Woven
Cotton Woven is 145 GSM and made from 100% cotton. It is digitally printed, approximately 54”–56” wide, and is a non-stretch fabric. Selvages may be present. Pricing is $25 per yard for preorder and $28 per yard retail. This base is sold in 1-yard increments.
▶ Water Resistant Canvas (WPC)
Water Resistant Canvas (WPC) is 220 GSM and made from 100% polyester. It is digitally printed, measures approximately 59” wide, and is a non-stretch fabric. Selvages may be present. Pricing is $15 per 18” x WOF for preorder and $18 retail. This base is sold in 18” x 54” rolls only and will be folded for shipping.
This base has structure and behaves like a woven fabric. Some fraying at cut edges is normal. Water will bead and roll off the surface; however, pressure can allow moisture through. Color appearance will differ from other bases due to fabric content and printing process.
▶ Athletic Knit
Athletic Knit is 280 GSM and composed of 85% polyester and 15% spandex. It is digitally printed, approximately 56”–58” wide, and has 4-way stretch. Selvages may be present. Pricing is $26 per yard for preorder and $29 per yard retail. This base is sold in 1-yard increments.
PANELS
Big Kid Panel Pack
The Big Kid Panel Pack includes three uncut panels, each measuring 19” × 36”. The total equals one full yard. Pricing is $25 for preorder and $28 retail.
Single Big Kid panels may be offered separately when available and are priced at $12 preorder or $16 retail each.

Adult Panel Pack
The Adult Panel Pack includes two uncut panels, each measuring approximately 29” × 36”. The total equals one full yard. Pricing is $25 for preorder and $28 retail.
Single Adult panels may be offered separately when available and are priced at $15 preorder or $18 retail each.

*What to expect with large print orders and continuous yardage: Max length of our cuts offered is 6 yards. We cannot guarantee any continuous cut amount due to the manufacturing process.
SHIPPING & INSURANCE:
- We ship domestic U.S.A orders by USPS Priority mail and provide tracking by email to buyers and $100.00 of included package insurance by USPS is included.
- We currently do not ship Internationally
- Additional insurance coverage is available in your shopping cart or at checkout through a third-party Route. If you would like to fully ensure your order you must check the Route Shipping Insurance button at checkout. ALL claims are handled by you, the buyer, directly with Route. - WE ARE UNABLE to combine shipping on multiple orders.
- We do not offer any shipping adjustments or refunds as our shipping rates are at fixed pricing.
- If you are placing a domestic order that weighs more than 21.3 pounds you will be charged shipping fees at time of shipping by PayPal invoice. You have 1 day to pay your shipping bill and we will contact you by email or message to collect. *Packages will not go out without payment. We still send large orders via Priority Flat Rate.

ORDER ISSUES/MISSING PACKAGES/MISSING ITEMS:
Please be sure to inspect your fabric and contents upon arrival and before you use or wash it.
Each customer will have 7 days to inspect their order to ensure quality is to their satisfaction. If you happen to find any flaws or have other concerns, we ask that you please contact our admin team on our Facebook page so we may replace or issue partial/full refunds. Any issues or problems with your order that are addressed after the 7 days are not eligible for replacement or refunds. Any issues need to be addressed before washing, cutting, or altering the fabric in any way. No refunds or replacements will be given at any time after the fabric has been altered from its original condition.
Salty Sews is not responsible if your order is damaged in any way during shipping. We do everything we can to securely package your order to ensure it arrives to you undamaged. If you would like extra insurance coverage on your order please leave a note on your purchase and you will be invoiced for it. Please remember that Salty Sews is not responsible for packages once they are shipped. This includes undelivered packages. Once your package shows movement we can not be responsible for the condition it arrives or the time frame it takes to reach you.
You have 7 DAYS from the date tracking shows your package was delivered to contact us if you receive anything that has a flaw, or you are missing product for us to address the situation for you. If you fail to contact us by the 7th day no refunds or replacements will be issued. Any washed or cut fabric will not be covered. If you are missing all or part of your fabric due to a damaged parcel please contact USPS directly by filing a claim with them. If you have received a product that has manufacturing flaws please contact us by email within 7 days to fix it for you.
- If USPS or UPS damages your package, or it’s lost, it is the BUYERS responsibility to file a USPS claim on the website by uploading your proof of damages, and all pertinent information. This can be done rather quickly on their website. All orders include $100 of included insurance. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR 3rd PARTY CARRIER ISSUES. We will do our best to assist in any way possible should you have an issue with a carrier company, but we are not liable for their service.
- If you would like to fully ensure your order you can do so by selecting the Route shipping insurance feature in your cart or in the checkout screen. It’s a very affordable way to protect your shipments. If you have a claim to submit and you paid for this service, you can work directly with Route via their website.
